I’m Vernon, a retired engineering professional, business student, and lifelong maker.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
My career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory spanned 1985–2021, including work as a Senior Engineering Technical Associate and Senior Technical Supervisor. That experience shaped how I approach problems: understand the details, think carefully, and build with purpose.
U.S. Navy · Naval Nuclear Power Program
From October 1979 to October 1985, I served in the U.S. Navy’s Naval Nuclear Power Program. My service included an assignment aboard USS Pollack (SSN-603) from January 1982 to October 1985. I was honorably discharged as an Electrician’s Mate First Class, Submarine Qualified (EM1-SS).
High School
I graduated from high school as my class salutatorian.
Today, I’m studying business, with graduation planned for May 2028, and exploring the intersection of analysis, financial services, and technology. Away from the desk, I enjoy engineering and woodworking.
